教学目标 Course Objectives
本课程以全球公共卫生的视角，向学习者讲授突发公共卫生事件的概念、特点、分类和分级，梳理国内外传染病、食品安
全、环境污染、自然灾害、核泄漏等方面的重大突发公共卫生事件案例，拓宽学生视野，提高学生的综合素质。
The Course “Approaching Major Public Health Emergencies” is designed for all the undergraduate students and master
students in SUSTech. From the perspective of global public health, it teaches students the concept, characteristics,
classification and categorization of public health emergencies, and summarizes public health emergency cases related
to infectious diseases, food safety, environmental pollution, natural hazards and nuclear leakage. This course aims to
broaden students' horizons and improve their comprehensive quality.

1） 对 突 发 公 共 卫 生 事 件 概 念 、 分 类 、 分 级 、 特 点 的 掌 握 Students will know the concept, characteristics,
classification and categorization of public health emergencies.
2） 熟知不同类型突发公共卫生事件的基本知识 Students will also learn basic knowledge regarding different types
of public health emergencies.
3） 对我国和全球主要国家卫生应急体系和案例的了解 Students could summarize theories regarding emergency
management of public health emergencies that may apply to both countries and explain why they are different.

本课程将向学生讲述突发公共卫生事件的基本理论知识和典型案例，具体包括突发公共卫生事件的分类、分级、特点、预
防与准备以及新技术在突发公共卫生事件中的应用，本课程还将引导学生围绕国内外重大突发公共卫生事件进行汇报和讨
论。
This course will tell students the basic theoretical knowledge and typical cases of public health emergencies, including
the categorization, classification and characteristics, prevention, preparation of public health emergencies and the
application of new technology. This course will also guide students to report and discuss major public health
emergencies at home and abroad.
