教学目标 Course Objectives
Specifically, this course aims to:
Introduce students to the core concerns of International Relations- War and Peace.
Instill in students a deep and profound concern for the world peace and love of humanity.
Train students to develop ideas and ways through which they can contribute positively to the future of global
affairs.
Increase awareness of justice and injustices in the international system among students and stimulate their
thinking about how Asian values and civilizations can reduce and eradicate these injustices.

预达学习成果 Learning Outcomes
After studying this course, students should be able to:
Students will be able to identify the structural, ideological, and historical determinants of conflict and peace in
international relations.
Rationally and objectively analyse the causes and impact of global conflict.
Understand why conflict is a constant factor in international relations.
Identify measures of conflict prevention and conflict resolution in international affairs.
Distinguish between initial phases and escalation phases of threat in international affairs.
Students will be able to obtain an in-depth understanding of origins of crisis situations in international relations,
escalation of crisis situations, transformation of crisis into conflict, and crisis control.
