教学目标 Course Objectives

从维特鲁威（Vitruvius）的《建筑十书》（被认为是迄今为止最为古老的西方建筑理论著作）到阿尔伯蒂（Leon Battista

Alberti）的《论建筑》（被认为是奠定了西方建筑学理论与学科基础的重要著作），以及相继的塞里奥（Sebastiano

Serlio）的《建筑五书》与帕拉弟奥（Andrea Palladio）的《建筑四书》，这些著作构成了西方建筑历史经典基础理论文

本。这些著作中提及的建筑学科的核心概念，以及其所涉及的建筑学科知识的分类体系与范畴方法，直到如今仍然是西方

建筑历史与理论在渐次发展的过程中不断回溯、引用，并持续讨论的话题，它们也构成了认识西方建筑历史与理论的最基

础、最根本的线索。通过对这些西方建筑历史经典基础理论文本的选读，对其中核心概念的讲解，以及对其中所涉及的建

筑学科知识的分类体系与范畴方法的澄清，将梳理并呈现出西方建筑历史与理论的概貌，并借助这个过程，培养同学们的

文化敏感、历史意识，并提高关于建筑审美的修养。

From the most ancient theory work about Western Architecture Ten Books on Architecture of Vitruvius, to the

fundamental architectural theory work De re aedificatoria On the art of building in ten books by Leon Battista Alberti,

and the more latterly published work of Andrea Palladio – Quattro libri dell’architettura, and the work of Sebastiano

Serlio – Books I-V of “Tutte l’opere d’architettura et prospetiva”, all these works constitute the Fundamental Classical

Theory Texts of Western Architecture History. The key notions, the method of classification and the categories of the

architectural knowledge constitute continually the fundamental subjects of discussions in and about Western

Architecture theory and history. By a series of Selected Readings of Fundamental Classical Theory Texts, we hope to

cultivate students’ cultural sensitivity, historical awareness, and improve the cultivation of architectural aesthetics.
