教学目标 Course Objectives
本课程旨在介绍东亚史前玉文化的时空分布,以及玉器工艺技术的变迁。本课程将阐释东亚新石器时代玉文化和亚欧大陆
旧石器时代骨角质装饰品传统的关系,并对比东亚史前玉文化与中美洲玛雅文化玉器的使用,旨在让学生在更广阔的视野
下认识东亚独特玉文化传统的形成和发展过程。
This course aims to introduce the spatiotemporal distribution of prehistoric jades within east Asia, and the transition and
transmission of associated jade crafting technology. East Asian Neolithic jades are linked with the deep tradition
originated since the Eurasian Upper Palaeolithic personal ornaments made of bones and antlers. Furthermore, East
Asian jades are compared with Mesoamerican jades, towards a broader horizon, within which students could
understand the characteristics of the formation and development of East Asian jade using cultures.

本课程预期让学生掌握以下技能和知识:
1、对东亚史前玉器及其工艺技术有基础的知识;
2、将玉器工艺技术的变化置于文明演进的社会文化背景中理解;
3、认识世界各地不同的玉文化;
4、了解玉器研究中使用的社会科学方法;
5、认识目前玉器工艺技术研究的新方向。
Upon successful completion, students will be able to:
1. Have a fundamental knowledge of prehistoric jades and the associated crafting technologies;
2. Understand the transition of jade crafting technology within the sociocultural contexts of ancient civilization;
3. Be aware of jade using cultures in different regions around the world;
4. Acquire a basic knowledge of the social science methodologies that are used to study ancient jades;
5. Be aware of the new directions in the study of jade crafting technology.
