教学目标 Course Objectives
本课程为针对各专业本科生开设的人文通识课。课程以讲授中国古典诗歌与传统文化为基本内容,旨在培养学生对中国古典
诗歌读兴理解赏力引导透过歌的而在向度认传国的景。程以
读诗为教学重点,围绕诗与文化的主轴,提炼出十五组中国古典诗歌所凸显的文化范畴、意象或理念,在每堂课上就其
一组精选阅读内容,由教师引导学生展开细读、思考与研讨。与此同时,教师将针对每堂课的主题作出延伸性、发散性内容
的讲授,以读诗为经,以史事典故、文化轶谈为纬,在每一组文化主题的逻辑架构下融入丰富充实的课堂体验。
This is a GE oriented course in humanities area, designed for the undergraduate students of all the majors. The main
content of this course is to teach the classical Chinese poetry and the embodied traditional culture, aiming to motivate the
students' interest and to hone their abilities in reading, understanding and appreciating the classical Chinese poetry.
Meanwhile, this course is designed to guide the students in their cognition of the cultural landscape of traditional China
through the medium of poetry. The core approach of this course is through reading. With the poetry and its embodied
cultural aspects as the focal point, this course singles out fifteen sets of cultural concepts or images quintessentially
reflected in the classical Chinese poetry. In each session, the course lecturer prepares a selection of poetry content, and
leads the students to explore one of the abovementioned sets of cultural notions through close reading, critical thinking
and discussion. Aside from the poetry reading, the lectures also touch upon various forms of the complementary contents,
introducing the relevant historical events, anecdotes, norms and cultural phenomena, and in so doing, create a richly
informative and well-structured class experience.

本课程预期在以下几方面培养学生的能力:
1. 理解中国古典诗歌的文本形态,初步掌握细读诗歌文本的方式。
2. 运用独立的、批判性和创新性思维考察中国古典诗歌的语言、修辞和艺术。
3. 体认诗歌文本所承载的文化内蕴。
4. 摆脱学科分域的思维定势,探寻从不同的视角观照世界的方式。
This course is designed to help the students develop the following abilities:
1. understanding the textual state of the classical Chinese poetry and grasping the basic close-reading approaches
towards the poetic texts.
2. applying the independent, critical and original thinking to examine the language, rhetorical strategies and artistic effects
in the classical Chinese poetry.
3. recognizing and identifying with the cultural implications underlying the poetic entities.
4. freeing from the disciplinary bias and initiating fresh perspectives to look at the world.

从第四周开始,以 3–4 人为一组,利用每堂课的最
后十分钟进行小组报告。学生以小组为单位,针对各
堂课的自主阅读篇目利用课后时间进行研讨,并在课
堂上进行报告。每组研讨报告的具体内容和日期在第
一周课上以随机抽取的方式决定。
From the fourth week on, the students will form a

group of 3 to 4 people and use the last ten minutes
of each session to present their readings,
reflections and discussions as a team. The contents
of the teamwork are the after-class reading
materials specially selected for each session. The
groups, their working materials and presentation
dates will be decided by randomly drawing lots in
the first week's session.

学期课程结束后,学生需在指定期限内提交一篇
3000–5000 字的期末论文。论文内容由学生从指定
的十五首诗中自主选择一首,根据课程讲授的方式和
方法,撰写一篇学术研究型小论文。学生在撰写此论
文过程中应体现出问题意识,独立和创新思考能力,
避免赏析式的泛泛之谈。在有效借助前人研究的同
时,应体现出批判思维的能力,并严格遵循学术研究
和写作规范。
Upon the completion of the course, the students are
required to submit a 3000-5000-word final essay by
the designated deadline. The students are expected
to choose one from the fifteen poems selected and
write a research essay applying what they have
learned from the course. The essay should reflect
the student's abilities to raise questions, to deal with
previous scholarship, and to engage in
independent, critical and original thinking. Academic
ethics and reference rules should be strictly
followed.
