本门课程为新媒体研究的入门课程,旨在详细系统地向学生介绍新媒体研究的各个领域、知识前沿、核心概念和相关理
论。本门课程基于三个相互关联的部分组织:第一是新媒体在各个级别的应用,如人际互动、家庭、组织、群体和社会。
第二是在各种社会情景下的新媒体使用,如跨文化、性别文化、健康、危机公关等。第三部分则重点分析了当下社会中一
些热点现象和议题,如游戏、视觉、流行文化、科技信息和青少年儿童等等。
This course is an introductory course for new media research that aims to introduce students to the various areas of new
media research, knowledge frontiers, core concepts and related theories. This course is based on three interrelated
parts: the first is the application of new media at all levels, such as interpersonal interaction, family, organization, group
and society. The second is the use of new media in various social situations, such as cross-cultural, gender culture,
health, crisis public relations and so on. The third part focuses on some hot issues and topics currently, such as games,
visuals, popular culture, scientific and technological information, and children and adolescents.
本课程预期让学生掌握以下知识、技能:
- 了解新媒体在各个社会层面和情景中的使用;
- 了解如何通过社会科学的视角理解这些现象;
- 了解新媒体的生产、使用、效果及社会意义。
This course is expected to provide students with the following knowledge and skills:
- Understand the use of new media at various social levels and scenarios;
- Learn how to understand these phenomena from social science perspectives;
- Understand the production, use, effects and social significance of new media.
