This course is not only a course of departmental aesthetics, but also a course of architectural culture. The main focus of
the course is to reveal the spatial, structural and formal characteristics of architecture, as well as the relationship
between architecture and history, region (climate and environment) and race, centering on the unity of opposites
between goodness (function) and beauty that are unique to architecture and cities. The purpose of this course is to
establish a healthy aesthetic view of architecture, so that students can understand that the beauty of architecture must
be built on the basis of goodness. Without goodness as the foundation, the beauty of the architecture is absolutely
insignificant. In addition, this course will guide students to understand the principles of formal beauty of architecture and
the general rules of architectural space experience.
