教学目标 Course Objectives
本课程是一门城市研究导论。选取当代中国城市发展中出现的主要问题，以主题和区域两种方式呈现，并从多角度切入中
国城市问题，旨在帮助学生理解城市问题的动态性和复杂性，培养学生的批判性思维。采取小组项目的形式，鼓励学生使
用城市研究的基本方法，对其选取的城市问题进行深入分析，理解城市问题的成因、发展过程，探索解决方案。
This course is an introduction to urban studies. It selects major problems facing China’s urban development after 1949.
The problems are presented by different themes and geographical regions. Approaching urban problems from a multi-
perspective view, this course aims at helping students to understand the dynamics and complexity of the urban problems
in China and to fostering critical thinking among students. Students are required to complete group projects on their
interested topics to explore the mechanism behind urban problems and to seek possible solutions.
