教学目标 Course Objectives
二十世纪后期兴起的全球化过程正在深刻地改变人类社会生活的每个方面，而科技的进步发展与全球化进程密不可分，相
辅相成。学者们从政治学、经济学以及社会学等不同角度对全球范围内人口、资本以及文化观念的大规模流动进行了多方
位的分析研究。本课程主要从人类学以及科学社会学的角度，通过追述全球化历史的各个阶段，探讨重大科学技术突破发
生的社会环境，分析科技和全球化的互动影响，旨在培养学生对科技与社会复杂关系的理解、认识和批判性思维，增强在
全球化时代从事科技创新的能力。本课程的目的不是要提供对全球化涉及问题的答案，而是通过阅读、讨论和写作，鼓励
学生独立思考和表达能力。除老师讲授外，本课程还将邀请知名专家进行专题讲座，提倡互动讨论，教学相长的课堂气
氛。
The process of globalization is closely related with the advances of science and technology, and has affected many
aspects of human society. This course will review the various stages of globalization and examine the interactive
relationships between the development of technology and globalization. Rather than providing “answers,”this course will
encourage students to critically examine the multiplicity and complexity of globalization through reading, discussion and
writing.
