基于物理系目前各不同研究领域和方向,介绍物理学前沿研究热点,扩充学生视野和知识面,增加学生对物理系教师及其
研究方向的了解。
Based on the research fields in the department of physics, introduce the contemporary frontier of physics, expand the
scope of students, and acquaint the students with the research fields of the professors in the department of physics.

修完本课程,学生对物理系教师的研究方向有所了解,能够选择合适的方向和学术导师完成他们在物理系的学业。
After finishing the course, the students should have a knowledge of the research fields in the department of physics, and
should be able to choose a suitable direction and a research advisor to finish their study in the physics major.

本课程为前沿讲座性质,主要围绕当前物理系教师的研究方向展开,由本校或者邀请校外相关领域知名专家为学生课设讲
座报告。共开设不少于 16 次的讲座,每次讲座为 2 学时。本课程不设考试,学生完成其中 13 个以上的讲座,可获得 2
分。
This course consists of at least 16 lectures(2 hours per lecture), focused on the research fields of the professors in the
department of physics. The lectures are given by the professors in SUSTech or other experts in the related fields. There
is no examination for this course. To obtain 2 credits for this course, the student should attend at least 13 lectures.
