教学目标 Course Objectives
本课程主要面向生物医学的高年级本科生(三年级,四年级)教授培养科学想法,分析思维和交流全方位的能力。我们将
以理论结合具体的科研事例(比如中药研究中屠呦呦的青蒿素工作、张亭栋
的三氧化二砷研究;成功的如 Fields, Chalfie,失败的如韩春雨,Watanabe等等)讲述科研逻辑思维,注意的陷阱。学
生有多个机会通过写作和演讲将学到的知识在课堂上应用,老师和同学将一起讲评及讨论。
This course aims to teach junior and/or senior undergraduate students how to think scientifically, analyze critically and
communicate effectively. Combining both theory/model with actual successful or failed cases, we will demonstrate the
value of scientific thinking and various traps/caveats. Students will have multiple opportunities, both individually and in
groups, to present their own thinking and ideas in writing and orally to the class for critique.

本课程结束后,学生将能够有对科研多方面的清醒认识,有逻辑性的科学思维,有效的交流思路和方法;培养和提升学生
观察、分析、综合和独立解决问题的科研能力,了解科研课题的计划及发展,开发。会批评性的阅读科学论文,因此这个
新颖的课程于生物医学科学专业人才具有十分重要的意义,会引导他们成为独立的科学家。
At the end of this course, students will realize the key issues involved in life sciences, analyze scientific problems
critically and logically, communicate their ideas and thinking in an effective manner. They will be able to read and review
scientific literature, learn how to identify important scientific problems and come up ways to tackle them. This unique
course will set students on their way to become independent scientists.
