教学目标 Course Objectives
本课程旨在提高研究生和科研人员的科技英语尤其是数学英语的写作讲解和使用能力。主要内容包含英文数学文章的结构
及常用句型和词语，英文数学文章的投稿和修改。 本课程也将讨论怎样给英文讲座，并对常用英文数学写作软件 LaTeX 做
一个基本介绍。
This course is designed for mathematics graduate students and researchers who need advanced training in English writing and
communication skills. Topics include structures of English mathematical research papers, commonly used sentence structures and
phrases, and tips on how to submit and revise papers in English. The course also covers how to give presentations in English and
introduces LaTeX, an open-source software for high-quality typesetting widely used for mathematical papers.

预达学习成果 Learning Outcomes
学生们在完成此课之后将具备基本的数学英语写作能力和用英语做数学科研讲座的能力，为成为能够使用中英双语进行科
研和学术交流的数学工作者打下良好的基础。
Students are expected to have learned basic skills in writing math papers in English and delivering math research talks in English.
They will have built up a solid foundation for conducting research and academic exchanges in English.
