教学目标 Course Objectives
1.向学生介绍西亚北非的历史、经济、教育、文化、社会发展情况；
Introducing West Asia and North Africa’s history, economy, education, culture and society;
2.通过现状介绍、案例分析、外邀专家讲座、纪录片欣赏等方式，直观展示中国和西亚北非的合作，
使学生加深对“一带一路”倡议的理解；
Introducing China-West Asia/ North Africa cooperation by case analysis, lectures of invited experts
and watching documentaries, and deepening students’ understanding of the “Belt and Road”
Initiative.
3.鼓励学生对西亚北非现实问题的反思，寻求解决办法。
Encouraging students to rethink the challenges faced by West Asia and North Africa and seek
solutions accordingly.

课程介绍 Introduction:
本课程介绍西亚北非的近现代史、经济发展、教育发展和文化风俗，在“一带一路”倡议的框架下，从
中国与西亚北非国家合作的亲历者和见证者的角度向学生进行展示。课程计划为每周一个主题，围
绕该主题进行现状介绍与案例分析，并结合外邀专家交流、纪录片欣赏等教学手段，使学生建立起
对西亚北非直观的、全新的认识，并设身处地对西亚北非现实问题进行思考，寻求解决方法。
This course gives an introduction of West Asia and North Africa, including its history, economy,
education, culture and its interaction with China. Under the framework of the “Belt and Road”
Initiative, the course is aimed to demonstrate West Asia and North Africa from the perspectives of
the practitioners of the cooperation between China and countries in West Asia and North Africa.
The course plans to have one topic per week, combining introduction, case studies, interaction
with invited experts and related documentaries, which helps students to understand more deeply
the status-quo of West Asia and North Africa countries as well as to discuss solutions for the
issues faced by the region.
