第十四周:世界一流大学及其排名(2 学时)
专题报告四大“世界大学排名的指标、权重、特点,要求选择学生与教师一起对“世界大学排
名”进行“元评价”。
第十五周:中国高等教育发展反思(2 学时)
教师对中国高等教育研究的心得,含对中国高等教育发展的历史与重点、国际高等教育发展的
经验和教训的反思和比较。
第十六周:学生讨论“我所理解的中国高等教育在世界体系中的位置”(2 学时)
结课(学生讨论):通过本课程学习,学生得到的提高。
Week 1: On Functions (2 Credit Hours)
The function of higher education and the function and development of university, such as the
emergence and development of university teaching, research and service functions in the world.
Week 2: On Developmental Stages (2 Credit Hours)
The three stages of the development of higher education, these are, the formation, development
and judgment of the elite, mass and universal higher educations.
Week 3: On Organization (2 Credit Hours)
Academic organization and its structural characteristics, such as the nature, structure and level
distribution of the university as an academic organization.
Week 4: On Discipline (2 Credit Hours)
The existence and development of disciplines, including the differentiation and synthesis of
disciplines, the relationship between disciplines and universities, disciplines and teachers, are
described in detail.
Week 5: On Academic Profession (2 Credit Hours)
University faculty are doing academic profession. Academic Profession is with nine
characteristics.
Week 6: On Students’ Development (2 Credit Hours)
A detailed description of the reason why the students are going to college, the university has the
function of increasing knowledge, improving the ability and developing the personality of the
students.
Week 7: On University Finance (2 Credit Hours)
The financial source and expenditure category of the university, the relationship between the
university and the fund, the relationship between the university and the market, and so on.
