教学目标 Course Objectives
德奥音乐如何解读?19 世纪德奥音乐最辉煌的时期,无论是思想还是创作实践都对整个欧洲产生深远的影响,而瓦
格纳和勃拉姆斯是继韦伯、舒柏特、门德尔松、舒曼之后,承接贝多芬伟大传统为西方音乐作出巨大贡献的两位德国作曲
家。从勃拉姆斯身上既可以看到古典德奥音乐传统,同时也充满了强烈的浪漫主义特征。瓦格纳(Wagner)以改变西方
音乐传统轨道,从而引起极大争议的角色而引人注目,他在乐剧创作与论文著作中的思想观念,不仅影响了西方音乐发展
的进程,成为西方音乐历史研究的重要文献,也是整个艺术界和思想哲学领域所关注的对象。本课程将从重要的潮流角度
分析德奥音乐在历史上的各个重要时期,通过对历史的梳理结合聆听上百段特定音乐走进德奥音乐艺术,充分认识德奥音
乐功能、音乐手段、音乐形式以及音乐家,了解德奥音乐体系。
During the 19
th
century, German and Austrian music were in their prime and exerted a far-reaching influence on the
musical composition and concept in the whole Europe. Musicians such as Weber,Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann,
Wagner and Brahms were followers of Beethoven. Of them, Wagner and Brahms particularly continued the musical
tradition from Beethoven and contributed a lot to western music. Brahms’s works were embodied with the tradition of
classical German and Austrian music and strong romanticism while Wagner’s contribution, which was controversial,
aimed to change the musical tradition. His ideology and concept of musical creation and the relevant writings have been
key resources for western music history researchers and a field to artists and philosophers. The course provides a
survey of the trends in German and Austrian music in significant periods and offers an opportunity to appreciate sections
from hundreds of German and Austrian music in order to better understand their major and important aspects.
