教学目标 Course Objectives
本课程在教学中强调精选教学内容，使课程具有一定的深度和广度，强调系统性和新颖性的统
一，注重对学生进行艺术、人文素养和学识的培养。通过本课程的学习，使学生能够对美术的基本
特点、美术的门类、古今中外各时期的经典美术作品、主要美术流派、著名美术家等，有较为全面
的认识，了解美术作品创作的环境、背景以及意义，理解美术作品所传达的人文精神和历史价值，
掌握一些基本的美术知识。同时注意引导学生逐步认识美术作品的形式美，体会美术作品的情绪意
境，把握艺术家的创作个性和时代特色，探究作品的文化内涵，培养学生分析美术现象和美术作品
的能力，提高美术鉴赏水平。
By the end of this course, the students are expected to understand fully the
characteristics, categories of the artworks. They should also recognize famous artists,
the major art schools and the classic artworks representative of different times and
places. For a particular artwork, they are expected to understand its historical
context, background and its significance, in addition to the spiritual meaning and the
historical value the works embody. We also focus on guiding the students in their
aesthetic comprehension so that they could better analyze and appreciate artworks and
other artistic forms. This course aims at putting students in the broad cultural
context in their study. The teaching materials in their course are carefully selected
to ensure the course to be broad in scope and rich in content. The lectures are clearly
value-oriented, combining systematicity with novelty with a special emphasis on the
cultivation of the character, the appreciation for art and the mind of the students.

通过本课程的学习可以提高大学生艺术欣赏水平，使学生能够对美术作品有较为全面的认识，
知道美术的基本概念、门类，熟悉经典美术作品、主要美术流派、著名美术家，了解美术作品创作
的环境、背景以及意义，理解美术作品所传达的人文精神和历史价值，从而提高艺术审美素养，培
养创新能力，增强综合素质。
By end of the course, college students are expected to improve their artistic
appreciation level; have a comprehensive knowledge of artworks; get to know the basic
conception, categories of arts; be familiar with classic artworks, main schools of art,
and famous artists; understand the historical context, background and its significance
of artworks; comprehend the humanistic spirit and historical value in artworks, thus
improve their aesthetic accomplishment, creative ability and comprehensive quality.
