This section introduces solar quiet daily variation, lunar daily variation, magnetic storm,
magnetic disturbance in aurora zone and geomagnetic pulsation.
Chapter 5: Paleomagnetism (4 hours)
This section introduces residual magnetism of the rock as well as the principal, method and
application of paleomagnetism.

This section introduces general characteristics, classification and variations of
